About Me:
Clayton Ipsen is a president and founder of True North Physician Agency (TNPA). Founded in 2020, TNPA helps physicians and other medical providers on the business side of healthcare, with a focus on launching new independent medical practices.
Clayton is passionate about helping entrepreneurs create a path towards their vision and ultimate goals. With over 22 years of experience as a non-profit executive and healthcare leader, he understands business plans, strategic planning, and how to ask the right questions. During his tenure with Adventist Health, Clayton successfully oversaw practice acquisitions, physician recruitment, provider onboarding, business development and ended as the Director of Planning and Development of a growing four hospital and 65+ outpatient clinic network in Central California.
As a graduate of California State University, Fresno he earned a B.A. in Communication, completed graduate work in Human Development and Leadership at Murray State University and completed executive education at Harvard Business School in negotiation and competitive decision making. Clay is a board member of the Tulare County Economic Development Corporation, an active member of his church and enjoys hiking, traveling, and reading. He has special memories of visiting his grandparents in Shasta County.
